Kamal Haasan’s awaited film ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’s’ audio launched on Sunday morning September 6 with speed and style in the Sathyam cinemas. It was one of the best audio launches and it was well over in 40 minutes. The chief guests at the function were Kamal’s mentor K. Balachandar, his first producer AVM Saravanan, and his all time favorite music director MS Viswanathan.
The fans of Kamal were put up in the balcony of the theatre and they went delirious with joy on seeing their hero and were constantly cheering him up. Gauthami played a perfect hostess and while speaking said that Shruthi Haasan is the new face of Indian music and she is very talented. Her dedication, determination and sincerity to her work are great and she is the true heir to Kamal Haasan’s legacy, she added.
The theatrical trailer of the film and a music video for television and internet promotions was played for the select invitees. After that, Kamal escorted KB to stage and fell on his feet and got his blessings. Akshara Haasan welcomed the legendary director with a bouquet of flowers while Gauthami’s daughter Subbulakshmi did the same to AVM Saravanan.
The audio was jointly unveiled by KB and AVM Saravanan. While speaking on the stage AVM Saravanan said that Kamal has taken Tamil cinema to new heights. KB said that two generations were meeting and Shruthi is going to be the new sensation in Indian cinema.
Shruthi thanked everybody and says that she was always dreaming of that day. She felt as an artist it is an important day and to work with Kamal Haasan is a blessing. Gauthami is her biggest supporter her words mean a lot to her. Kamal says that he was glad all his gurus have come to bless his daughter. MSV sir in spite of not keeping good health came for the function and KB sir has not discovered him but invented him, he added.
