Cheran has earned the wrath of the team of the film Raman Thediya Seedhai. He has been stalling the development of this movie. Cheran has accused the team of sidelining him in this movie. Cheran also accused the crew of ignoring his role in the movie and giving greater weightage to Pasupathy and Nithin Sathya’s role. Differences in the movie crew cropped up when Cheran refused to dance for a party scene citing his image as a family hero as the reason. Then, the song was completed using Ramya Nambeesan.
