Silambarasan had made waves with stills of Poodaa Poodi recently. The film is being funded by Padam Kumar from Mumbai along with Roger Nair of Canada and the major portion of the film will be shot in Canada. The film will be launched around the 15th of August in Toronto.
Poodaa Poodi, as the name
suggests, will be a light veined comedy which will have Silambarasan coming to Toronto and meeting his life partner, who was born and raised there. They are diametrically opposite in nature and as the proverbial saying goes, become attracted to each other. Though Silambarasan had written the story earlier, he had made a few changes in the script to accommodate a setting in Canada. Currently the unit is hunting for ideal locations as well a suitable heroine.
