Soundarya Rajinikant has got guts, gumption and has the “go 4 it” attitude.
She has taken the bold decision to distribute her Goa, in areas where she can’t find a buyer. It is risky but at the same times you have to be bold to get your film across to the masses.
Soundarya with the blessings of her father superstar Rajinikanth, has managed to get the best of screens in Tamil Nadu for a big bang release of Goa on January 29.
The film has stiff opposition as Chimbudevan’s cowboy film Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam is also slated for release on the same day.
The Venkat Prabhu directed Goa is sandwiched between Pongal releases still in theatres and Ajith’s Aasal due on February 5.
In the one week window time Goa has to take a bumper opening. The large number of screens will give Soundarya and her Ocher Picture Productions the extra edge.
