Mappillai Dhanush who was conferred with National Award for Actor for the film Aadukalam has thanked his father Kasthuriraja and brother Selvaraghavan for bringing him to film industry. He dedicated the National Award he won to father-in-law Superstar Rajinikanth.
Dhanush said “I sincerely dedicate the National Award for Best Actor to Rajini sir. All my prayers for Rajini’s health and he must get well soon and return home. To all the fans of Rajini, I request not to believe the rumors. He is doing fine.”
The actor also thanked the board members of National Award Committee for selecting him for the National Award. He also extended his gratitude to his wife Aishwarya, for motivated him from day one of Aadukalam shoot that he would sure win a National Award.
