Sampath win laurels for his 'homo' act in Goa

It's been a downpour of appreciations for actor Sampath for his astounding performanceof a homosexual in his recent release 'Goa'.

The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and is produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth of Orcher Studios. It's tale of 3 youngsters eloping from their village to Goa just for the sake of marrying foreign missies.

Actor Sampath states that he was vividly inspired by his friend's idiosyncrasies in Mumbai. Adding more, he said, "I had completely studied his mannerisms and started behaving as the character in real life as well. Indeed, most of my closer circle of friends humiliated me for having accepted this role. But I am very much jubilant with the good reviews now."

It seems that Venkat Prabhu had approached nearly a dozen of actors to perform this role and most of them were reluctant about it. But patently, Sampath was bold enough to take up this challenging offer and accomplished with excellence.

Sampath has now teamed with actor Ajith Kumar in his upcoming release 'ASAL' slated to hit screens tomorrow.
